Pole Dance in LD movies

Recently, we (me and my wife) noticed that tons of bad (and sometimes really bad!) movies include pole dance scenes. Then I had the idea to collect (as I love collection !) all the pole dance scenes I can see in my LD movies to validate or invalidate this idea. I'm doing this in the name of science!

B.

Berverly Hills Cop is clearly not a bad movie, and this is maybe why the pole dance scene doesn't have a real erotic potential. The dancer seems to have dance skills, but there is not enough time to appreciate it. The place and the scene is just a pretext here to inject a dose of humour in the relation between the main characters.

C.

Quite good scene in City of industry. The camera is really good. The dance performance is simple but the girl is hot, and her costume interresting. Tiny but cute breast ;)

A very bad pole dance scene in one of the worst movies ever. Poles are even not real poles, just plastic bars. The girls can't do anything with that. The dancers are hired only for their fake boobs. They don't have any knowledge or dancing skills. The idea of "neon pole" is not a bad idea though, as it adds some artistic sense to the scene. But that's all. A girl is kicking a bad boy in the middle of the scene. It was fun !

I was so happy to find there was a pole dance scene in Independence Day, as I love this movie ! The actress is pretty, don't expect a sexy pole dance in a blockbuster movie... No suggestive plan nor any nude part of the body. Just a cute bra, on a girl who knows nothing about dance. It's even hillarouse when you watch the scene twice ! But so refreshing ! Thank you Roland Emmerich !

Nomi's dance in Showgirls is really disturbing, because she doesn't dance as a professionnal, but as an actress. We can cleary feel in this scene that she does'nt want to stay in that world. She is searching for something more artistic, maybe... The result is a good dance scene, but certainly more impressive than sexy.

This "background pole dance scene" is more classical, with professionnal dancers, doing well their job, but only here to create an atmosphere for the movie. Dancers are good. Choregraphy could have been more elaborate, but the function of this scene is to focus on Nomi, not on background charaters.

In this scene, Nomi is becoming less and less professionnal, more and more sexual and agressive. This is her last pole dance scene, and we can feel this is the limit before something bad happen. She seems to be sick of this world. She pulls her partener by her hairs, scold bar clients, does a really angry face. In those conditions, she is so intense (and her body is so perfect !) that it's impossible to not fall into her charm !

A very good pole dance scene in a passable movie (still bad). A little bit short, but the rythm and choreography are good. The dancer is skillful and beautiful.

The entire performance is really impressive, but this cut was shot by another camera in a poor definition. 4/3 size, and point of view is far from the quality of the shot taken for the movie.
